Shaggy (Andrew Hoare) was an active and dedicated supporter of the GDH3 Hash for many many years – even though he has not been around so much recently. He was a colourful and unique character who embodied the spirit of the hash and was a good friend to everyone who knew him. He met Estelle on the Hash and romance blossomed ………..  It is with such very great sadness we hear that he, Estelle and their two sons died in the Malaysian Airlines MH17 crash yesterday. We can only offer our condolences to both of their families and celebrate the life of the lovely man we knew at this run on Monday.

Please note:
The family would ask that “black arm bands are fine but please wear the most colourful kit to run in that you can find to celebrate the time they and the boys were with us.”

Monday Runs start at: 19.00-ish !!!!
